I started Shed Investor Academy to teach others the power of investing in commercial property.

Everyone's at a different stage however, some just starting out while others have quit their jobs to do this full time.

I've spent nearly 30 years investing in property. I've made every mistake you can make as well, and I don't profess to know it all!

I'm not an internet guru, I'm a builder who worked out the best way to transfer his skills to the best asset class I know — industrial sheds.

I will teach you how to find, buy and add value to commercial property, all with a "freedom number" in mind. That is, enough rent coming in to give you the freedom to live the life you want.

It's a combination of investing, building and developing to create long term wealth.

I've now got over 140 people in the Shed Investor Community who are all learning the process and we have some amazing success stories as well.

Every week: Live calls with Johnny

I alternate between two formats, week by week.

Q&A Session — An open group call. Bring your questions, your thinking, your blockers. Sometimes it's a structured discussion, sometimes a deep dive on some key student questions. Either way, you're getting direct access to my brain every week.

Deal Desk — This is an open zoom session and it could be just you and me on the call or there could be others who take turns in discussing a live property.

You bring a real deal — or just come and watch.

We screen share, crunch the numbers, stress-test the assumptions in real time.

I've had sessions where one person shows up and it becomes a full 1:1. I've had sessions with five or six people where everyone learns from every deal on the table.

There is no better commercial property education than sitting at a live deal desk and getting a fresh set of eyes on what you're looking at.

Live Site Tour Day

4 or 5 times a year I take a small group on-site. You'll see real commercial properties — some I've bought, fixed up and sold, others I'm holding long term or it could be one of my development sites.

You'll learn my process by seeing the deals up close so you understand what the tactics are around each strategy.

This is a ticketed day (valued at $1,500) but it's included in your VIP membership. We run only a handful per year — you choose whichever date suits you.
